Yesterday, Crew Shields were super excited to take part in an egg hunt round schooL. They shared out reading the clues until they found the goodies. Obviously the best part was getting to eat their yummy caramel egg.

We’ve ABSOLUTELY had an amazing couple of days celebrating Easter, starting with retelling the Easter story. Dominic had so much knowledge about Christianity!
We then took part in our Easter bonnet parade, we had some amazing creations which the children had worked so hard on. Such hard worked paid off because the Easter Bunny heard and paid us a visit today, we had to solve the clues to find our treats. Luckily, he didn’t out smart us!
Well done to everyone in our crew who took part in our Easter egg competition. Our crew thoroughly enjoyed voting for their winners, it certainly was a close call. Everyone had such wonderful and kind comments to share.
Well done to Billy and Lilia for their fantastic creations and our winners for today’s competition.
With the lovely sunshine we’ve been having, it was an ideal time to explore shadows and how they are formed. In Crew we had a challenge – to form ‘friendly shadows’ 👥👥 It was great fun to debrief watching the clouds move quickly by 🌤️
On Tuesday 7th February we celebrated Safer Internet Day 2023, attached are the slides we created to showcase our thoughts and ideas.Â
Internet Safety or E-Safety is an integral part of children’s education in today’s digital world and is embedded in their learning at school. At Carcroft School we want to help our parents and children improve their own understanding of e-safety issues so they can learn to use the internet and all digital media in a safe and secure way.
As a parent/carer you’ll know how important the internet is to children – they use it to learn, play, socialise and express themselves. But the technology children use every day can seem a bit daunting and you might worry about the risks your child can face online – such as bullying, contact from strangers or the possibility of them seeing illegal or inappropriate content. Â
To try and help parents/carers with the fast moving and changing world of internet and social media we’ve suggested a few internet sites. You can also read/download the documents for further information and advice.
