World Book Day Fun

Pupils enjoyed an interactive world book day in Crew Haigh, we shared book, sensory stories and especially enjoyed making sandwiches for our tea party

Sharing our story – EYFS bin stickers

On Friday, Crew MW went on a little walk around school distributing our final product bin stickers. The stickers will be stuck on the bins throughout school and as the children move through school they will always be able to see their work from this expedition. Whilst we walked round, we also spotted another final product displayed on the wall near the dinner hall – we loved the illustrations of the bees!

Becky Green – an inspiration!

What a fantastic way to kick start our sport week with a GB Freestyler Kayaker! Becky Green inspired children this morning with her passion for kayaking, at such a young age she has achieved so much! Our children practised some key skills and exercises to get their bodies moving.

Dare you venture into the Jungle?

Today, we were very lucky to take part in a wonderful experience brought to us by M&M productions, The Jungle Book. Many of us knew the story of Mowgli and it was fantastic to see the story brought to life!

Friday Fun in the Sun

On Friday afternoon, Maddie, Reuben and Mimi practiced their addition to 20 skills on their whiteboards. Then, we were treat to a sensory story with Crew Haigh. We enjoyed having an ice cream treat like the children in the book- “Lucy and Tom at the Seaside” then doing some painting mark making in the sunshine.
