
It’s a busy week this week – dates for your reference.

What a wonderful week we have had getting to know each other and building relationships in Crew Haigh. We have explored a whole range of sensory and learning activities together and coped really well with the change in staff and new routines.
This week we have been looking at fireworks and listening to halloween songs!
This week we have been working on our pincer grip!
What a wonderful day we’ve had at Austerfield! We started our day with an exciting bus journey where we drove through Doncaster and saw lots of new and exciting buildings including the Minster and train station and we even saw a police van!
When we got to Austerfield, we went on an adventure in the woods and collected lots of natural resources to create some artwork with in the afternoon. We explored the hills, the sand, the muddy puddles and the Christmas trees and we found lots of toadstools, berries and pine cones!
Then we enjoyed some delicious dinner!
After lunch, we used our natural resources to create some artwork and to make potions!
We had a lovely day, but we’re definitely ready for a sleep now!
We have been exploring our senses and listening to lots of new sounds! We have also been engaging in 1:1 activities for longer bursts! Look how well we are settling into our new crew.
This week we have been exploring our senses! We have been walking in tomatoes and we have also made it snow!
Today in our stay and play session we made our mummy and daddy some necklaces and beautiful posters. We also made a lovely song on our xylophone using lentils! We had lots of fun this morning!
This week we have been focusing on learning our new environment and beginning to form relationships with our new friends!
