Yesterday we celebrated another fabulous year at Carcroft School. We came together as a community to enjoy our annual family picnic and say goodbye to our Y6 children. We had a great time ☀️🥳

In KS1 we have been exploring how to keep safe in the water, especially with the warmer weather on the way. We produced some beautiful posters to help our crew remember to think carefully about entering the water 🌊
Here are our key messages to our crew……
Dominic said, “don’t go near the edge, you might fall in.”
Leo told his crew, “there might be rubbish in lakes what might pull you under.”
Evie said, “Don’t go in water without a grown up because you could drown and there isn’t a grown up to help you.”
Pink Team really enjoyed sports day, we even made a conga train. Great team work from all members. We really enjoyed all the exciting sports activities and we can’t wait for next year to do it all again.
What a fantastic afternoon we had at KS1 sports day! We worked great as a team and supported each other in the different activities! Well done blue team on winning sports day! 🏆🥇
Crew Godley has a fantastic time with Danny Evans, a professional basketball player. He spoke to the children about his journey and was very inspirational – Michael is determined to follow in his footsteps!
