💛 A Simple Message of Thanks

Local businesses are an important part of our community. They bring people together, provide welcoming spaces and help make our local area feel like a special place to live.

Our postcard was a simple way of saying thank you and recognising the hard work and commitment of our local bakery and cafe.

Reading for pleasure

There is a quiet magic in reading purely for pleasure—getting lost in a good story, unwinding, and letting your mind wander into another world. But perhaps even more rewarding is the act of passing that magic along.

When you finish a book you’ve loved, leaving it somewhere unexpected—whether tucked into a community bookshelf, placed carefully on a garden bed, or left on a bench—turns a simple story into a shared journey. You never know who will come across it next, what kind of day they’re having, or how much they might need to lose themselves in a good read at that exact moment.

Books aren’t meant to sit on shelves collecting dust; they’re meant to travel, connect us, and be enjoyed over and over again. Next time you finish a favorite, consider leaving it out in the world for a stranger to discover. 📚

A Little Thank You to Our Wonderful Community 💛

We are delighted to share a special thank-you card currently displayed in a local shop window, created as a small way of showing our appreciation for the wonderful community around us.

The card is a simple but meaningful message of thanks to everyone who continues to support, care for and contribute to our local community.

The Carcroft Clean Up!

Here at Carcroft we believe that small actions can make a big difference, and our recent staff litter pick was a fantastic example of this.

Members of our staff crew came together to spend time outdoors, work as a team and help make our local area a cleaner, safer and more welcoming place for everyone.

Together, we can make a difference — one piece of litter at a time! 🌱
