Wow! What a wonderful day we’ve had at Magna. The children had an amazing time exploring the different areas including fire, earth, air and water. The children participated in 2 workshops linked to Big Circuits and Fuel to help us consolidating our learning throughout the Spring term.
To raise money, we’re going to come into school wearing non-uniform, dressing for joy!
If your child wishes to wear something red or decorated with the Red Nose logo they can. However, this is not compulsory. Please do not feel the need to go out and purchase something new. If your child wishes to wear a red nose they can, however please can this be named. A £1 donation is very much appreciated to support Red Nose Day, this can be brought in as cash on the day, thank you.
The money we raise will be used to change countless lives, both here in the UK and worldwide.
We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping us raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.
So today in xp outdoors LKS2 group 4 did loop de loop. where they all had to hold hands and then be able to past the hoop around the circle without letting go of the persons hand. they really enjoyed this and watching the staff get involved as well.
We have had a wonderful day in LKS2 celebrating World Book Day. We enjoyed talking about our favourite books, making our own bunting and sharing our amazing outfits.
What an incredible afternoon we had at the dodgeball tournament. All the children who participated worked incredibly hard and supported each other. I could not be any prouder of them. They showed great sportsmanship skills and cheered for each other. Unfortunately, we did come fourth in the competition but they did not give up and showed resilience
LKS2 children enjoyed sharing their expedition work with UKS2 on Friday afternoon. What a wonderful way to finish the week. It was lovely to see how engaged the children were and how impressed our crew were with UKS2’s handwriting.
LKS2 would like to invite you to our cake sale on Thursday 9th February straight after school at 3pm. The cake stall will be set up outside Crew Flaherty and cakes will be on sale from 30p. We would really appreciate any donations you can make for our cake sale.
The money we raise from the cake sale will be going to a family who have recently suffered a bereavement and we would like to show our support as a school community by helping them to set up a memorial garden where the children can remember the special times they had with their loved one.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and support
