Today we began to share our final products with grown-ups in school who help us in different ways. We can’t wait to share some more treats over the next few days.

The Year 3 and Year 4 sleepover was an absolute whirlwind of excitement from start to finish. The evening kicked off with a high-energy pizza party and a thrilling session of glow-in-the-dark dodgeball that turned the hall into a neon battlefield. After the adrenaline settled, the children put their thinking caps on for a series of competitive quizzes before winding down with a cozy film marathon. Following a night of (mostly) sleeping, the fun continued into the next day with a morning of games, leaving everyone exhausted but buzzing with fantastic memories.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Celebration of Learning this afternoon.
We hope you enjoyed all the activities and sharing your child’s learning.
A huge well done to our Year 3 and 4 pupils from. who recently took part in an exciting dodgeball tournament against other local schools. The children showed fantastic crew work, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
After a series of great matches, our team proudly finished 2nd place out of 10 schools! This is a brilliant achievement and everyone represented the school incredibly well. We are very proud of their effort, enthusiasm, and positive attitude during the tournament.

Today we compared newspaper and non-chronological reports before beginning to write our own newspaper reports about a brand new species of jaguar that has been discovered!

We used string to help us workout the perimeter of regular and irregular 2d shapes.
Over the past few weeks in music, we have been learning the song, ‘I’ve been to Harlem”, thinking about the shape of the tune and using our voices to show this. We’ve spent time learning the lyrics and the tune, and today, we have moved on to creating an accompaniment using the pentatonic scale on the glockenspiel. We used the 5 notes – F, G, A, D and C – to create note clusters and we began practising playing along to the song.

Well done to Kai, Molly, Lily-Rose and Archie on their latest reading awards!
