Crew Shields have been showing off their dance moves today.
They started the day off by completing some team building activities then they started to learn a new dance routine.
I absolutely love how they are all trying to active participate in the learning even the children who don’t finding dancing enjoyable. This really shows us working hard to get smart! 😁
Massive well done Crew Shields ⭐
Our crew have been following instructions in our writing experience lessons to create artwork to supplement their writing. We listened carefully how to draw our own cat. The cat was trying to catch the egg! But the egg shouted……. We can’t wait to write about it! Dom was our writing superstar the previous lesson when the dog chased the egg!

Today we used out DT skills to cut and chop vegetables for our couscous salad. We enjoyed tasting it too! 🫑🥒🍋

This afternoon we have been practising our cutting skills whilst making a couscous salad.

Crew Marsh loved creating artwork using nature… look at our smiley faces!

Today, we had a super exciting visit from Ian the farmer! Ian brought lots of his animals with him, and we got to stroke them, ask questions about them, and we even fed them some carrots! We loved seeing all of the different animals as part of our hook day ready for Case Study 3 – What happens to creatures as they grow? We learnt all about the names of the animals, what their babies are called, and how Ian looks after them on the farm.

Today we have started our first draft of our artwork for our final product. To say these are our first drafts we are very proud of our beautiful work already! We had three groups: some children decided to draw a mic with the help of Miss Taylor (to represent MLKs speech) which was for children less confident with art, the next group worked step by step with me to draw George Floyd and the last group lead their own learning by pushing for 4 and challenged themselves to follow an online tutorial drawing Martin Luther King.
