After having opportunities to practice or collaging skills it was time to complete the final product to take home to our chosen adult.

On Thursday, we had great fun looking for clues from the Easter bunny which lead to a box of creme eggs for everyone to enjoy.

A huge well done to everyone that entered the Egg decorating competition. Some fantastic ideas and lots of effort put into which was great to see.
Big shout out to Tony and Ruby who were voted for by the crew for having the best entries.

Mick really put the children through their paces this week as they completed their last session fo the Spring term. They were running, doing star jumps, planks and walk out. I imagine they had sore legs afterwards.
Last week, we continued practicing our collaging skills by taking some elements of the final product to have a go at. We looked at the shape and appropriate shapes to use to create the object we wanted.

I loved finishing the term with our acro and cheerleading showcase. It was amazing seeing the children show off their routines they have been practising. I know some of the children were nervous but I left feeling so proud of them all and it was lovely to see how proud they were too!

Today we have been Scientists and looked at the different parts of an animal, we labelled their different features and compared them to other animals we have learnt about. We also thought about why animals have different features because of their habitat and the temperature.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our celebration of learning after school tonight. It was amazing to see the children sharing their beautiful work with their friends and families. They have worked so hard over the past term and loved our ‘Blue Planet’ expedition. We hope you all have a lovely Easter and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. In music, we started to look at graphic notation which helped us recognise the syllables in words and how this corresponds to standard notation. We then practiced as a group different graphic notations and then we had a conductor help us start and stop. We watched a video from August Rush to help us understand the role of a conductor.
