King Charles has lost his crown 👑

We have been writing about the journey that King Charles took around London to find his missing crown. The children wrote sentences for each step of the journey and then we decided to put together a collection of videos to showcase our final piece! We’re so glad that the King found his crown and as you can see, he’s very happy too! 👑

Crew Challenge

Can you create a raft from natural materials and make it float?

We collaborated beautifully to create rafts from twigs and string, we had to use our fine motor skills and clear speaking skills to ensure we achieved our final product.

Awesome Authors! 🌟📝

Last week in Crew FE I was blown away with the fabulous writing that the children were producing! They have shown that they are able to use expanded noun phrases with prepositions, onomatopoeia and time fronted adverbials! Great work Crew FE! I am excited to share this with your grown ups next Wednesday afternoon and I am sure you are too!

Applying speech in MI

Today we wrote our next plot point as well as using the dialogue we built in our grammar lesson yesterday. Such resilience today in MI, we all ensured we advanced the action and we tried to describe the character a little more. Really great work today 🙂

Crew FE

Today, we sketched and labelled the different parts of a volcano. The children in our Crew worked really hard to understand the different parts of a volcano and certainly enjoyed watching some videos of volcanoes erupting around the world. The children also asked thoughtful questions to extend their own knowledge. Keep up the great work Crew FE!
