What an incredible day Monday was! Y6 performed their leavers performance to the school during the morning then to their parents, carers and friends in the afternoon. What an incredible performance this was where children were able to showcase the wide range of talent they hold. We are so proud of everyone and you blew us away with an outstanding show. Well done Y6 and thank you to everyone who came and supported the event.

Just a reminder that all library books must be returned to school by tomorrow (Wednesday 19th July) if possible, so that all books can be organised and renewed where needed ready for the Autumn Term.
Unfortunately, there will be a charge for any library books that are not returned.
New book bags and reading records will be given to pupils when they return to school in the Autumn Term.
Many thanks for your continued support around reading this year.
In maths today we learned how to tell the time to the nearest hour, I was blown away with how quickly the children could tell the time and show me it on their clocks. Super work today Crew Marsh, tomorrow we go again with half past!

Today in RE, we have been looking at the importance of singing for the Christian faith. We’ve enjoyed discussing the different ranges of music depending on the church. We’ve been very lucky to have Izzy as our expert who has shared lots about her church.

Last week, Crew Shields completed their last independent write of year 5. We used a video stimulus for our writing and had the opportunity to plan and chot before writing.
This was an opportunity for Crew Shields to showcase what they can do but also help highlight any areas for development for year 6.

The children have been exploring in the outdoor area to find materials, working as a mini crew to create numerals from 0-10. It was such a fun maths lesson, we didn’t want to come inside!
“This was the best maths lesson ever, I wish we had 2 maths lessons today” – Harrison
