We are looking forward to a lovely week celebrating the men special to us 🥰
Today, in Crew Marsh we started our new book.. Man on the Moon.
We acted out the first part of the story where Bob wakes up, makes his toast and cup of tea and then gets ready to go to work on his rocket.
I can’t wait to read the writing tomorrow!
The children loved sharing their expedition learning and sharing what they have learnt so far when answering the guiding question: where could your journey take you?
The children were most excited about sharing their hunt for the kings crown and where they had looked around London. 👑
It was lovely to have parents in to share our learning journey so far, and we cannot wait to share our next case study about space.
We have loved sharing our treasures from home in crew circle this morning! It was lovely to hear about everyone’s favourite things.
Due to loving our athlete visit last year….
I am excited to announce that we have an athlete visiting school Monday 3rd July 2023.
Children should have come home with a sponsor form tonight, sponsor forms are due in Monday 19th June 2023.
Sponsor forms should be handed in to class teachers or the office once all sponsor money has been collected.
This is a great opportunity for the children to meet a GB athlete and raise money for school at the same time, as soon as we know who the school athlete is I will share.
The King wanted to give up because it had taken so long to look for his crown he strolled to tower bridge slowly. Luckily the King found his gold diamond crown! It was at the top of tower bridge all along!
We loved being a bus driver, taxi driver or a boat driver. Some of us had been shopping and others were travelling to their next destination in London.
Fab work Y1, I cannot wait to read your independent writing tomorrow!
Crew Godley and a few other children from Crew March and Crew Robson wanted to do bug hunting to see if any bugs came out in the lovely weather we have this week. Here is a few pictures of what they have found
Today we went on the London Underground to find the king’s crown.. we still couldn’t find it but we loved trying to get on the train as quick as possible.
Today, in Crew Marsh we started learning about fractions and finding halves. I was very impressed with how well the crew did!
We loved our gifts from Chapter one! Thank you! 💕
