In PE, Crew Godley took on the exciting Basketball Hot Seat Challenge! Working as a team, the children had to use their skills, strategy, and quick thinking to get each other out of the hot seat. It was fantastic to see such great teamwork, communication, and determination on display. Well done, Crew Godley, you showed brilliant sportsmanship and energy throughout, even when it became a little tricky!
Today we followed instructions to make a rocket, it was a tricky but we persevered!
To hook us into our learning we have started to learn about journeys, what they are and how you can travel on them. In order to find out what our guiding question is for this term we went on a journey around the school grounds to find the different words. We used a map to help us.
What a way to end the week before bank holiday weekend, thank you to everyone who came to watch and everyone who performed for us!

Today in our writing lesson we listened to the story ‘The Queen’s Hat’ by Steve Arnold.
We enjoyed the story and then talked about how Queen Elizabeth sadly passed away and now we have a King. We then became illustrators to design a front cover for our new story that we will write over the next three weeks. Everyone worked hard and showed resilience, even when faced with challenges.
