This week we have created our Christmas decorations and today we will be bringing these home. We have all really enjoyed creating these where we followed a step by step guide to build our decoration. We cant wait to hang these on our Christmas trees.
Today we delivered our UKS2 carol concert to our families and what a lovely celebration it was. We all enjoyed singing a variety of songs with Mrs Ibbotson doing an amazing job playing the piano. We then continued with the festivities by enjoying a mince pie, hot chocolate and a few biscuits! What a lovely morning 🙂 We are all super proud of each and every crew and we hope everyone has a lovely festive period. Merry Christmas from all of the UKS2 crew and heres to a happy and healthy new year.
It has been a lovely morning in UKS2 🙂 Today we shared our morning with parents and carers where we presented our final product. Children also showed the adults who attended our new display board which show cased so much beautiful work. Thank you to all adults who came into school this morning 🙂 It was lovely to see such proud faces from the children in MI.
It would be lovely if the children could wear their Christmas jumper tomorrow for the Christmas Carols.

I know we have had a few questions about whether LKS2 should come in uniform or PE kit tomorrow. We would suggest coming in uniform, ready for the celebration of learning in the afternoon!

Some great maths in our magic maths session today. We tried to beat the time when solving fraction arithmetic questions, then we looked at roman numerals. We did lots of chanting of the 8 times table before applying our knowledge on times table rockstars. Great work MI 🙂
We are so proud of our children this morning in their performance ‘Prickly Hay’. We can’t wait to do it all again at 1.30pm. See there!
The children in crew nursery today took a trip on the Polar Express! We collected our tickets and explored school using our own Santa bell.
We had hot chocolate and cookies and were able to visit Santa himself in his own grotto. We had to listen carefully to hear the bells ringing. We were very lucky Santa brought us all a present!
We had lots of fun during our Christmas pyjama day last week 🎅🏻 We watched The Snowman which was very exciting and even though there were no words, we could follow the story and narrate what was happening. We even helped Miss Welburn to decorate the Christmas tree too 🎄We all thought it looked beautiful when we had finished!
