Maths
In maths this week 2 of the children are working on their new number. Which is number 7.
P.E
Today in p.e they learnt how to play cricket. Their used lots of skills and how to throw the ball over arm instead of under arm.
Making Cheese Burgers
In life skills they made their own cheese burgers . At first the children found the mince meat very sticky touch while they were trying to roll it into a ball before then flattering it into a burger. They then added their own salad, cheese and sauce.
Hook Week Tasting Session
In Hook Week we looked at our 7 taste buds when trying different food.
Life Skills
Today the made their own yoghurt muesli pots. The children really enjoyed the different fruit , muesli, yoghurt and honey. They practised their cutting skills when cutting the fruit with the knife. They all followed the instructions amazing.
Rounders
Today in P.E they children learnt how to play rounders and to remember that they need to run round the cones.
Mayan Mask
Today in expedition the children learnt about maya mask and why they used to wear them. Here are what the children made.
Hook day in expedition
Today we were looking at the timeline in Maya. We looked at what AD and BC stood for. AD stands for Anno Domini, which is Latin for in the year of the Lord. BC refers to the time before Jesus was born.
