World Book Day in Crew McGlone!
Year 3/4 (group 6) really enjoyed buliding their own den as well as a little tree bench in xp outdoors today.
The children really loved playing tag in the forest area. They all had a piece of white sheet tucked in their pocket and the aim of the game was to try and get each others tag to get them out. This certainly burned some energy off.😁

What an incredible afternoon we had at the dodgeball tournament. All the children who participated worked incredibly hard and supported each other. I could not be any prouder of them. They showed great sportsmanship skills and cheered for each other. Unfortunately, we did come fourth in the competition but they did not give up and showed resilience

We were so lucky that Victor shared the Bulgarian tradition of Baba Marta with us today. He brought martenitsa’s (a traditional Bulgarian bracelet) for each member of our crew. A big thank you to Victor and his Mum too! M
Some fantastic writing in MI…

To build on our knowledge from yesterdays lesson of where food comes from, today we looked at what makes up a balanced diet. We firstly had to look at the different food groups: carbohydrates, protein, vegetables and fruit, dairy and fat. The children came up with their tea idea ensuring it was balanced.

Today in Crew Marsh we trecked through the jungle to a river, where we met a crocodile. The crocodile was feeling very hungry!!
