Crew Godley joined Crew Haddock outside today splashing in muddy puddles

Today we were lucky to be visited by Mrs Godley’s Grandma who talked to us about what it was like during World War Two and her experience of being in hospital.
The children asked some great questions and we all learnt a lot!
Today in crew we explored what kindness with our hands looked like. We thought about what kind things we can do with our hands to show that we care, for example giving a high five 🖐️ or a wave 👋 or even a hug 🤗 We then worked together in mini crews to sort kind and unkind actions, this led to some great discussions about our views and opinions. This linked perfectly to our stewardship roles in crew and the children were able voice how we take cares of not only each other but our environment too.

Today we consolidated our unit on the Christian faith. We loved the Kahoot quiz and we were top of the class with everything we had remembered! We can wait to see which religion we will study next!

Today we used concrete and pictorial objects to help us with our new block of maths, measures! We all worked well with our partner discussing how we could measure objects and reasoned why we selected the order in which we placed objects.
