As part of our careers day we had a visit from the local firefighters, they showed us around the truck and allowed us to explore all of the equipment on the truck too. We now know there’s lots more to being a firefighter than putting out fires. We were able to lift and see how heavy the equipment is which they use to cut people out when they rescue them from a car crash. It was very interesting and we really enjoyed our visit from them all.
