Highlight of the Day:
Our Christmas party!! We played games, danced, ate great food and had a wonderful time! Everyone got along so well and we had a brilliant end to the term!
Howl Heroes:
The whole crew are our howl heroes today! We have come so far as a Crew since the beginning of September, working hard and getting smart in their learning but also being kind to one another. Today everyone was cheering for their Crew and celebrating alongside each other so they all deserve a shout out! Well done Crew Wilson!

What a fantastic last day we have had in Crew Welburn! We’ve had a Christmas party, danced, played musical statues, pass the parcel and had party food! Every child in the crew has had a smile on their face all day which was fantastic to see! 🎄🕺 😁
I am so proud of each and every one of the children in the crew and how far they have come over the past term. They’ve all developed such amazing personalities and have worked hard to be the best that they can be! I couldn’t ask for anything more 🥰

What a whirlwind of a first term. It is really hard to believe that we have just completed our first term together. I have been blown away by the crew this term and certainly could not be prouder of them!
This term we have achieved so much. A few highlights are:
But most of all, our biggest achievement of all has been becoming a CREW! Our crazy little crew really do love being together and are really starting to celebrate the success of each other! We were told early on when we started this journey, that if we get crew right then we will get everything right! And boy, are we definitely starting to do that in Crew Longley!
Well done to each and every crew mate. You have WORKED HARD, GOT SMART and BEEN KIND!
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and New Year and look forward to seeing everybody again on the 4th January 2021.
Well, what an emotional last day before Christmas! 🎄
The children have been little super stars and I have had so much fun teaching them the last few weeks. I’m definitely going to miss each and every one of them after Christmas. It’s been a real pleasure to see how much they have all changed and grown since the Foundation Stage. 🥰
Today we voted for our terms HOWL heroes and discussed why the chosen children were voted for. The comments made were very humbling, the crew ethos is strong within this crew!
Kelby was voted for our “working hard” HOWL hero. She has shown real resilience to her start to year 5 and all the children commented how Kelvy tries so hard every day. Well done Kelby. 🌟
Olivia was voted for our “getting smart” HOWL hero. Sometimes Olivia gets easily distracted but this term she has tried hard to concentrate to complete her learning and work smarter. Well done Olivia. 🌟
Grace was voted for our “being kind” HOWL hero. Grace is so kind to every member of the class and tries to support everyone with their learning. Well done Grace. 🌟

What a wonderful day we have had to celebrate our last day of term 🎅 The children have had a fantastic time celebrating with their friends. We have danced, laughed and sang the day away. The children really enjoyed their party lunch, it was lovely to see all the children in their party clothes enjoying their pizza and jelly!
