We have had lots of fun in expedition this afternoon. We made swords and shields to prepare us for our medieval battle! ⚔️🛡 We had to use our drawing and cutting skills to create brilliant patterns from the pictures we could see. These are going to look amazing when they’re finished!

Star moment today was learning about the different Roman Emperors. We have learnt about so many different ones!! I wonder how many you can all remember?? 😁

How can we develop this tomorrow?

Crew Marsh need to continue to make sure they are fully concentrating on their learning and listening to instructions, we have been chatty again today and I think this is effective our positive attitudes towards our learning.

Monday is now complete. Well done to Crew Gerrard for working really hard in their learning today. I was really impressed with their pace and accuracy in reading. Maths we’re continuing to consolidate our skills when finding equivalent fractions and I think we’re almost there. Just one more lesson, guys! Expedition was interesting and we learned some new ICT skills when labelling a map of the world on Jamboard. It’s been a difficult choice for our HoWL, as a result of such hard work, but they are:

Highlight of the Week: I know I’ve already mentioned this but our independent writing has blown me away this week! We are becoming such great authors in our crew and I am so proud of our progress so far!

What a fabulous Friday we have had in Crew Welburn! We have worked really hard in our phonics and reading lesson, and we have been superstars in maths! Our favourite part of today was seeing each other’s pictures of our favourite things that express ourselves and learning a little bit more about things we like and dislike.🌟

It has been good to be back in Crew Mcloughlin today! The Crew has been full of chatter and laughter… a bit too much at times😂 but I know they have all missed socialising with the rest of Crew so we will let them off!

Friday is now complete! We’ve had another great day of learning. The children have worked really hard on their reading skills and they have improved their knowledge on how to find equivalent fractions, showing their fantastic attitudes to learning, once more. Star moment today was spending time with the crew outside at break and lunchtime, I thoroughly enjoyed having down time with them and chatting to them about their interests.💕 💕😊
