Building on yesterdays learning, today we have learnt how to tell the time to the nearest half past. Again, we were fab at it!
Today we treated our well deserved Y6 pupils to pizza!! We played some fun games with Dawid (our Active Fusion coach) and stuffed our belly’s with LOTS of pizza 😋
Well we had a lot of yawns this morning in Y6 but it just shows what a good time we had celebrating! This wonderful evening wouldn’t have been able to happen without Michelle and Danielle. Thank you so much to Uncle Toms for letting us have the venue and providing us with a delicious buffet. Michelle you were a superb host, thank you so much for everything! Danielle (Lottie’s mum) for being so talented and creating our beautiful balloon hoop, everyone commented on how stunning it was!! What an incredible day Monday was! Y6 performed their leavers performance to the school during the morning then to their parents, carers and friends in the afternoon. What an incredible performance this was where children were able to showcase the wide range of talent they hold. We are so proud of everyone and you blew us away with an outstanding show. Well done Y6 and thank you to everyone who came and supported the event.
In maths today we learned how to tell the time to the nearest hour, I was blown away with how quickly the children could tell the time and show me it on their clocks. Super work today Crew Marsh, tomorrow we go again with half past!
Lovely little Crew activity this morning with Mrs Rhodes. Rock, paper, scissors where the children had to compete against each other and move a step when they won. If they reached the middle then they got the keep the crew member form the other team. The aim of the game was to get as many children from the other team.
Today in RE, we have been looking at the importance of singing for the Christian faith. We’ve enjoyed discussing the different ranges of music depending on the church. We’ve been very lucky to have Izzy as our expert who has shared lots about her church.
