Today I had a visit from 4 of our Y5/6 Pupils who were keen to share their diary entries- they were so entertaining to listen to. I also loved the way the children read their work aloud, loud and proud, using their reading voices…
Within their writing, they have been focussing hard on writing for effect and I loved their varied sentence structures. It was also good to see them improving their work to make it even better using their purple polishing pen.
Finally, it was also good to see that handwriting was improving after a slight decline in standards over recent weeks, it was clear pupils were trying to ensure high quality work consistently. A super visit- thanks Crew McLoughlin.
