Good afternoon everyone,
The children in Crew today were introduced to the class Egg.🥚 We discussed where it had come from and what made our Egg different to any other eggs we might find in the supermarket. Our Egg is “magical”. 🧚♀️🧙♂️
With its lovely golden colour and glitter nest, the children are very intrigued to see what will hatch 🤔🤷♀️ We had some very interesting ideas. Some children thought we might get a chicken while others thought it might even be a baby dinosaur. 🦖 We will have to wait and see.
They discussed how we could care for the egg as a crew and how we could make it comfortable enough to hatch. We were all really kind and throughout the day the children kept an eye on the Egg to ensure it was warm enough and keeping safe. 🥰
The children then used their phonic knowledge to draw pictures and write labels to say what they thought were inside. Brilliant fred talk everyone! 🐸
