MI’s sentence stackers…



Great resilience today when exploring a poetry text. We explored the text, unpicked the vocabulary and thought about the hidden meanings and what the authors messages were within the text. Some great discussions and ideas raised 🙂



Today we had a brilliant visit from the Ladies in pigs, they spoke to us about farming and how we can cook using ingredients used in the UK. Next time we go shopping we are going to look out for the red tractor badge on food. We enjoyed making a pizza in a pan. We all took it in turns to help chopping, rolling and measuring.
Children have been sent home with a cook book that can be used to make more recipes!
























Today we consolidated our learning on semi colons. We are getting much more confident when using a semi colon in our writing. We will apply our learning to our next piece of writing later in the week.



Today we continued our work on ratio by looking at how we use a scale factor to enlarge shapes. Great work today MI, such positive attitudes throughout. You also supported each other to achieve by working collaboratively. Fab Howls this morning 🙂




Today we looked at making a leaf out of wool.The children really enjoyed the challenge.

I have been amazed today by the great knowledge Crew Marsh have about plants. They have also been able to label the different functions.

Today we have been investigating seeds in different fruits. We loved looking at how different the seeds were in size and colour!
