This morning, all children across school who have achieved an ‘Awesome’ or ‘Great’ average in their HOWLs this half-term joined to together in the hall to celebrate their success and receive a special celebratory postcard.
It was great to see all these children together – you will see just how many there were in the photo below – to congratulate them on how determined they have been to Work Hard, Get Smart and Be Kind.
Our HOWLs help us to become the very best versions of ourselves and are so important, so it is great to see so many children achieving an ‘awesome’ or ‘great’ HOWL average. I can’t wait to see how many children we are able to celebrate with for achieving the same next half-term.
We had a brilliant time this morning celebrating this week’s Learning Legends. Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend this week’s assembly and share in our celebration.
Across KS1 we are hoping to raise enough money to fund a community defibrillator, as part of the expedition ‘What will I do to be a hero in my community?‘.
The children will be bringing home their sponsor form today ready for the sponsored walk on Thursday 11th November.
Take a look at the fantastic Halloween learning we have been getting up to this week. We hope everyone has a fabulous half term.
We have had lots of fun this half term with Coach Luke! We have worked together as a team and have had some fab sportsmanship! A big shoutout to the KS2 children for encouraging and supporting the younger children!
Have a look at the video to see what we have been doing!
