Pancake day

Tuesday was the best day ever! We made pancakes, and it was VERY messy (but that’s the fun part!).

First, we mixed all the ingredients in a big bowl. The flour went poof! everywhere, and our faces turned white like snow. We stirred and stirred with big wooden spoons—our arms got super tired, but we didn’t give up!

Then, we scooped the gooey pancake mix into little cups. It was sticky and squishy, and some of it even landed on the table (oops!). But that’s okay because we were having so much fun!

They were the BEST pancakes in the whole wide world!

Wow! What a performance!

It was pleasure to be able to watch the Cheerleading and Acro performance on Thursday afternoon. The children from KS1 and KS2 performed the dances they have been learning during this term in lunchtime clubs.

The performance oozed confidence and the high quality learning that has taken place during these clubs. It was great to see children from previous years perform but also lots of new faces. A massive well done to all involved. They should be very proud of themselves.

Bonfire week in Crew Tymon.

This week in Crew Tymon we celebrated bonfire night. We explored mixing paints together with our hands to make fire paintings. We also put the fire out in phonics using spray bottles. Using our hand eye coordination to roll a ball to make a beautiful firework picture, we also practiced our cutting and fine motor skills. To end the week we had a sparkle and shine disco, and we showed everyone our best dance moves.

Halloween fun.

This week in crew we focused our attention on the upcoming celebration of Halloween! We start our day off with a sensory story. This week the children took part in listening and interacting with our sensory story, The Incy Wincy Spider, as well as participating in lots of messy Halloween crafts.
