Yesterday in expedition, our case study three, Hinduism, we began looking at Rangoli patterns. Today we explored mixing primary, secondary and tertiary colours.
Well done to everyone who joined me this morning to showcase their beautiful work 🙂
Today our final product for our Spring Term expedition was delivered to the local scout hut. We enjoyed going over to have a look and see it in situ.
Today I was absolutely blown away by the beautiful work Crew Godley produced in writing. We wrote our second plot point of our story, All Afloat Noah’s Boat. Noah was getting soaked by the rain and had to usher all the animals onto the boat, it wasn’t an easy task!
This week in expedition, we have been comparing Cleethorpes and Carcroft! We have been using our noticing lense and talking about what we could see, and how we feel when we visited each place. Have a look about what we thought about each place and our comparisons…
Crew MW had a wonderful day on Monday! We got on a coach and went to visit Cleethorpes! As part of our expedition learning, we wanted to experience the seaside and the difference between Carcroft and Cleethorpes. We spent the day playing in the sand, building sand castles, paddling, playing with the parachute and talking about what we could see. It was so lovely to see so many happy, excited faces as we explored! We can’t wait to do our writing about what we saw.
I was blown away by Teddy and Romelle on Friday. They tried so hard to write a setting description based on our text ‘Our Tower’. Well done boys!
I am so proud of our writing from today, well done year 1! Keep it up!
