In xp outdoors Crew Hamill loved making picture frames where they used lots of different nature resources from the forest.

Crew Hamill enjoyed doing den building today in xp outdoors . They used all the nature materials from our forest area.

Crew Hamill loved making stars and christmas trees using twigs from our forest.
Twig Letters
In XP outdoors today the children made their initials using twigs, string and wool. First they looked for twigs and then they got the string to tie all the pieces into place for their initial. After that they then got some wool and made it look pretty.
Enjoying our new classroom and our first week back after half term!
Crew McGlone were very excited to explore their new classroom after half term. They have really enjoyed getting to know where our resources are kept and the areas we have in our new room.
Whilst we were enjoying our half term holiday, the season definitely changed and we noticed LOTS more golden, crunchy leaves had fallen off the trees in our outdoor area. We loved playing with our friends in Crew F2 and we worked together to collect them up and create big piles for us to play in. We even found some mini-beasts and insects!
XP Outdoors
Crew Hamill were working on their team building skills today where they did loop de loop and lilly pads. In loop de loop they all joined hands in a circle and then they had to get the hola hoop round the circle without breaking hands. Then in lilly pad they were split into 2 teams where they had 6 rubber spots and they had to get their team from one side to the other without falling off.

Today in forest school Crew Welburn loved making dragons out of toilet rolls, tissue paper, pom poms and googly eyes
Scotty
Crew Godley had an amazing time at Scotty’s . They did den building and then played hide and seek. This is definitely a life skill they need.

The children really enjoyed making stickmen in the forest area using natural resources and then they work as a crew to make a gaint circle.
