Another lovely day of in school and online learning!
Today we continued our Fire Dragon writing! 🐉 The children thought about how the dragon was moving and its actions. We created some lovely writing. In maths we consolidated our column method for addition. 🧮

Today our HOWL score was 3! This is a big improvement thanks to more children engaging with online and in school learning.

This morning it was a little busy in the area where Crew Nicholson, Godley and Marsh come into school therefore we have reviewed and amended the start times, starting Monday 11th January please;
Crew Nicholson- 8.45am
Crew Godley- 8.45am
Crew Marsh- 9.00am
My star moment today was how everyone in Crew Marsh completed all of their learning tasks, showed they could focus on their learning and therefore produced some beautiful, neat work in their books. This has been great to see! 👍✨✨
Average is: 3.0
Our Weekly HoWL target is: 3.0!
How can we develop this tomorrow?
Crew Marsh need to continue to be more mindful in putting their hand up tomorrow rather than getting out of their seat, this is something as a Crew that we need to be mindful of.

Our Get Smart hero today is Preston! 😁👌
Preston is a superstar in math lessons! He has blown me away with how much arithmetic knowledge he has remembered and is able to apply to a range of questions. He can also do this at a good pace! Well done Preston! 👏🙌😊
What a great week we’ve had in Crew Fox. In the past three days, we’ve achieved so much progress – we are overwhelmed with how smooth the online learning has gone. All children have accessed the same learning and today we reached 100% attendance – AMAZING. We hope this continues next week, super work by all.
Thank you to parents for ensuring children are logged in on time, this has helped with the smooth transition from morning task to crew and into the days learning.

What a brilliant end to our first week back in Crew Wilson!
Highlight of the day:
My favourite part of the day is quickly becoming our morning crew sessions, especially now we have our online learners joining us via Google Classroom. It is lovely to see how the Crew involve their friends who aren’t in the room when sharing their thoughts and feelings and playing our Crew games, well done everyone!
Howl Heroes:

Get Smart:Â Finlay for following instructions first time every time, keep it up!
Be Kind:Â Bobby-J for being kind in the playground and letting others join in with his game, well done!

3.5 – a slight dip in the average due to absences but we our whole crew challenge is for fab fours across the board next week, watch this space!

🤩 We are super proud to say that our HOWL average today is 3.6! We’ve worked super hard to achieve this and we’re really now thinking about what each HOWL really means.

We’ve had a lovely Friday in Crew Welburn. We have celebrated Birthdays with some cake, had doughnuts brought in by a very kind parent and worked really hard in our phonics lessons.
