What a great day we had exploring the National Space Centre (Leicester)! The children had the opportunity to see shuttles, rockets, space suits and even a real piece of the moon.
During the day, they were able to read lots of information which then allowed them to answer some multiple choice questions during the workshop. Afterwards, they explored the phases of the moon and then produced a turn wheel to help them remember each phase.
The children’s behaviour was exceptional and they really did themselves and school proud.
