Today in computing we have explored inputs and outputs. Did you know an input is getting information into a computer and an output is getting information out of a computer. Inputs could be a keyboard ⌨️ a mouse or a microphone 🎤 An output could be a monitor, a printer 🖨️ or a speaker 🔊. We then became virtual

Tom’s Dad has gone missing!📰
When we got in from break today we heard our classroom door make a strange noise, we had been delivered a newspaper that told us the great explorer (Tom’s Dad) had gone missing in North Pole.
We decided that we wanted to help, so we all wrote our own newspaper describing what Tom’s Dad looked like and where he had gone missing. We then told the rest of the school about this by posting it under their classroom doors.

Arctic or Antarctica animals?🐻❄️🐧

We found out that penguins live in Antarctica and the bottom of the world and polar bears live in the Arctic at the top of the world. We organised other animals like reindeers, killer whales and elk’s and seals.

Cheerleading club in action!

Algorithms – precise and concise
In our computing lesson today we have looked at algorithms in more depth and looked at why the instruction needs to be precise so that everyone does the same and follows it the same.
We learnt that editing an algorithm is called a bug.
