Crew Ramsay Fun In P.E!

Crew Ramsay has had a blast in their first P.E session this week! We used teamwork and sportsmanship which we have been learning about through our crew curriculum. We all showed respectful communication as part of our ‘Being Kind’ HOWL.
Rounders Champions!!
Today I couldn’t have been prouder of our KS1 children. Rounders isn’t a sport we usually play, so a quick turn around of learning the basics, Miss Holdsworth shadowing 2nd base with her life and most importantly working as a crew… we did it! Something we have never done before, we came first place in the Rounders tournament. We won every game, got noticed for our hard work, resilience and sportsmanship. Holding up the trophy even made one child say “This is the best day of my life” what an absolute honour it has been to attend todays competition!

KS2 Girls Football Tournament
A fabulous afternoon for our KS2 Girls football team playing in the sunshine.
Congratulations on coming 3rd in the tournament. Their brilliant teamwork, determination and great sportsmanship made us all proud.

Canaries House KS1 – Sports Day 2025
The children in KS1 thoroughly enjoyed all the activities within their Sports Day. Lots of competitiveness, fun and sportsmanship. We encouraged our team on even when they found certain activities tricky, great team work and resilience throughout! What a lovely afternoon we had!

Pe lesson: gymnastics
We have loved finishing our gymnastics learning by showing all of the movement, balances and rolls we have learnt over the last 5 weeks. I was so impressed!

KS2 Cheerleading
The girls loved going on their cheerleading trip the other week.

KS1 Multiskills
The KS1 children have loved their multi skills event this afternoon.

Basketball club with Eagle Hoops
I have been blown away at the progression with their skills and also sportsmanship within their basketball club. The children attend every Friday lunch time and I thoroughly enjoy watching them grow as individuals but also as small teams! Some great skills developing but the encouragement they give each other is such a great personality trait to have! The language they’re using is also impressive, as they know when it’s the other teams throw-in, foul due to ill play and knowledge around dribbling and passing correctly. Super impressive KS1

Scottie’s heroes
We loved our first Scottie’s heroes session! Fab resilience!
