Taekwondo
In PE, we have been practicing basic retreating motion with basic body kicks.
Some great team work today.
Our First Week Back
It’s been a busy first week back but we’ve managed to have a lot of fun too. Watch our weekly roundup for just a snippet of the things that we’ve been doing!
PE kit reminder
Just a reminder about PE kits:
- Dark coloured bottoms
- Red PE Carcroft top or a white one
- Trainers
- Carcroft red hoodie
If children have Scotties heroes (KS2 children) they will have their session outside no matter what the weather. Please make sure children are coming to school in the appropriate PE kit and coat.
PE days are signposted on all classrooms doors.
Any questions please come ask Miss Marsh 🙂
Daily Mile in Crew Godley
We’ve loved completing the daily mile this week and we have all challenged ourselves to work harder each and every day! 🏃♀️ 🏃♂️
PE – Let’s balance
A great PE session yesterday as the children were introduced to Gymnastics. The first skill of gymnastics is developing our core strength and being able to balance.
It does appear to be true that children often show now fear as some groups tried to be quite adventurous with their balances.
We ensured we reminded the children about our BE kind Howl – keeping ourselves and each other safe during this session. It also demonstrates a good crew bond as they have to trust their partner to keep them safe.
Y1/2 Multi-skills
We have had so much fun this afternoon practising a range of PE skills. It was all christmas themed and Santa even visited us!
Girls football tournament celebration! ⚽️🏆
We really wanted to celebrate the success of the girls tournament and here they are. Our Year 3/4 team and our Year 5/6 team. What a great tournament you all had!
