The children in Crew Robson have been warming up in preparation for their Athletics tournament this afternoon. They timed themselves, tried to beat their own score and then compared their speed to the famous athletes who have visited Carcroft School in the past! We cannot believe James Dasaolu ran 100m in 9.91 seconds!! 🥇🏃🏻‍♂️

Cricket tournament!

Today, some of our Year 3 and Year 4 children have took part in a cricket tournament. The children showed how well Carcroft School work as a team, and were cheering others on throughout the day. Their crew building and communication skills really shone through today! They got better and better as the day went on and we are sure they will be experts when they have finished doing cricket in PE!

This week we had the opportunity to take part in Scotty’s Heroes due to year 6 completing sats.

Children spent the session working collaboratively and on their communication skills. Well done to Alicia who was star of the lesson. 🌟
