In todays experience lesson we have made our own boat just like the boy in our story and sailed with penguin to the south pole. There was some choppy water and angry clouds, so we got to experience a storm!
Festival of Sports continued… 🩰⚾️🏃♂️💨😅
How exciting and what an amazing opportunity for some of our children to experience! The final dance when all the schools came together was amazing and it really is a memory which will stay with our children I’m sure! They all took part in the activities and thoroughly enjoyed each one, boccia being a new one to try and they took to it like pro’s. Great sportsmanship from KS1 today well done 👏

Arctic or Antarctica animals?🐻❄️🐧

Crew Marsh celebrates World Book Day 2024 📚
Today we had a variety of costumes in Crew Marsh to showcase our favourite characters. We listened to a range of stories and one of our favourites was “There’s a Dragon in your book” by Tom Fletcher. We really enjoyed this story because it was funny and we were all able to join in by using our imaginations it was great fun…just how reading should be! 📕❤️
Collage artwork 🐻❄️💕
This week we have looked at the artist, Hannah Hoch, who is known for her collage work. We have therefore each made a collage to begin our learning around polar regions. Check out our polar collage artwork!
Where is penguin from?🐧
After visiting the park and having no hope there finding out where penguin was from, the little boy decided to ask his duck in his bath…. annoyingly the duck had no idea either! He floated off with no explanation!
Playing in the park
Today we played in the park to ask all of the birds – where is penguin from? We still did not find out the answer and will have to keep searching.

In our art lessons we have been learning about Georges Seurat and how he uses pointillism to create his artwork, we did a lot of practise of this first before having a go at our final product.
Algorithms – precise and concise
