Crew Elmer Daily Blog 20.10.20

Are we sure it’s only Tuesday?! We have had a very busy but tiring day in Crew Elmer today and we sure are ready for half term!

Star moment of the day: ⭐

Two spring to mind today! One being how kind Crew Elmer were towards our trainee teacher Miss Clarke today as it was her birthday! 🎈 The children sang, made her a card and said sent lots of well wishes her way. I really think we made her birthday is school a good one and one to remember! Well done Crew Elmer! 👏

The other ‘Star moment of the day’ was PE this afternoon. The children were challenged to run for 4 minutes without stopping and I was really impressed with the stamina of some children. When they first did this in September lots of children gave up too easily and did not have much resilience…but today I was blown away with how much progress the children had made in a short space of time and were able to run the 4 minutes easy! Rowen, Lacey-Niia and Hannah you are just a few of the ones that stood out to me. I was particularly impressed with how you kept up with me, even when I challenged you to sprint the final minute Hannah!

Today’s HoWL average is: 3.3

WOW! 🤩 We are on a roll this week Crew Elmer! Keep this up to the end of the week please! 🤞

This week’s HoWL target is: 3.0

How can we develop this tomorrow?

Tomorrow Crew Elmer need to make sure that they continue to work hard, get smart and be kind at all times! If we can repeat today that would be fab! 🙌

Today’s HoWL Hero:

Today Crew Elmer had LOADS of praises that they wanted to give to each other starting from first thing this morning which was great to see! Crew Elmer jointly nominated Kacey-Leigh for ‘working hard’ ALL day! I also recognised this! The quantity and quality of work that she produced in our core subjects today as well as Expedition and PE blew lots of us away! Excellent work Kacey-Leigh! Well done! 😁👍🙌
