Dear Parent/Carers,
I am writing to inform you that due to staffing complications around covering leadership time during the current climate, we have taken the decision to only open school to critical workers who do not have any other childcare on a Friday, starting from next Friday 12th February. This will remain in place until school’s reopen fully later in the term, therefore, this will continue after the half term break.
School will be open for all those pupils currently attending Monday to Thursday, but on a Friday, we will only be open to critical workers in need of childcare. All children will continue to be provided with a remote learning offer on a Friday morning until 12 midday.
Friday afternoon will continue to be planning time for our Teachers.
We are trying our best to keep all plates spinning, whilst providing as many pupils with an education during the current climate but are struggling to ensure all aspects of school improvement are moving forward without giving leaders the time provided.
We hope that you understand the rationale behind this decision. We have tried to work a way round this, but due to not wanting to cross over bubbles, we have been unable to provide leaders with the time they are entitled in order to undertake their leadership role effectively.
Please could you complete this form if you require a childcare place on a Friday until 1.30pm. Please may we ask that you only complete this if you do not have any other option for childcare in order to reduce the number of pupils on site on Friday morning.
