It was lovely to see some of our grown ups in this afternoon to participate in an activity with the children. You’ll have seen previously that we have been making knucklebones this week so it was time to teach the parents how to make them. The children led the activity with their parent and between them they decided on some rules for their knucklebones. Thankfully, the children brought along the ones they’d made earlier so they could play a few games. We look forward to seeing more parents joining us next time.

UKS2 family stay and engage
Thank you to all the parents and carers that joined us this afternoon for our Colombian kahoot quiz, coffee and biscuit. It was wonderful to have so many of you in school and to see the children’s smiling faces as they took part in the quiz. Hopefully everyone learnt a few new facts on Colombia!! Children are now really excited for our next few geography lessons where we will focus on Colombia in more detail.
Working collaboratively on Pudding Lane 🚒🔥
It has been so lovely to welcome parents in to our KS1 crews this afternoon. We have worked collaboratively with our parents to create the houses on Pudding Lane, including the bakery where the infamous blaze began. Keep your eyes peeled for our next exciting experience lesson where we will use our houses to rein-act historic event.
