Becky Green – an inspiration!
What a fantastic way to kick start our sport week with a GB Freestyler Kayaker! Becky Green inspired children this morning with her passion for kayaking, at such a young age she has achieved so much! Our children practised some key skills and exercises to get their bodies moving.
Dare you venture into the Jungle?
Today, we were very lucky to take part in a wonderful experience brought to us by M&M productions, The Jungle Book. Many of us knew the story of Mowgli and it was fantastic to see the story brought to life!
Science experiment
Today in expedition we started our experiment on finding out which liquid will evaporate the quickest.
Grammar day
So today, we were looking at prefixes. Where they found two words, they added them together to make a new word.
Writing
We did PP1 today, where we started to look at our non chronological report. We have started with a subheading and a little introduction about Maya
Scotties
Today in scotties, the children had to lead each other through the maze while they are blindfolded . Then the played a game of how many cones they could pick up whiles blindfolded.
Writing/ Experience day
Today in writing we had our experience day looking at a non chronological report . The children noticed that the report can go in any order .We also used google to find out facts about the Maya people.

Today in expedition we were looking at solids that turn into liquids when heated up. We found out that it can change shape when it is left to cool down.Before we did our own experiment we looked at what happened to wax when it was heated up.

The children love coming to Breakfast Club and do lots of different activities
