Today we started our science case study where we started to classify plants and animals based on characteristics. We thought about what makes something living and non living then looked at MRS GREN. We then worked in mini crews to sort a variety of living things into groups. We all found lots of different ways which we shared with the whole crew. We then watched a video clip to help us think more about classifying plants, animals and microorganisms. We then had a go at creating our own classification key in mini crews.
