To deepen our knowledge of where the Romans came from, we learned more about the history of the Romans. We built our background knowledge further by reading about key dates in the Roman timeline and then we worked in mini crews to order a timeline from 753BC, when the building of Rome began, up until 476AD when the Roman Empire collapsed.
