Today we learnt about the different biomes around the world and talked about why we thought deserts, rainforests and tundras were in those places. Next, we sorted out which animals might live in the different biomes and why. Finally we discussed the importance of having different biomes for the plants and animals to survive in.

For our experience lesson today we ventured into the woods. Just like Vlad and Boxton, we escaped the fire and found shelter. We talked about where was the best place to make a shelter and how the people running away from the fire would have been feeling.
This week we have been exploring our senses! We have been walking in tomatoes and we have also made it snow!

On Wednesday, we celebrated Roald Dahl day by watching clips from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We talked about what we would have in our own factory. Then, we wrote about Rice Krispy cakes using phonics and to practice our writing skills. 🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫

Year 3/4 have had a lovely after in the forest area making baby turtles, climbing trees and playing 123 where are you?

We loved having grown ups in yesterday for our story time session! We had lots of fun sharing stories with you 📚

Rosie and Rupert have loved joining the children of Crew Robson and listening to some different stories. Thank you to everyone who has shared photos. I love seeing at them 🥰

We had lots of fun in Crew this morning sharing our special things. The children all listened to each other and asked great questions.

A huge well done to Crew Shields this week.
We’ve had lots more children reading at home and almost everyone has returned their homework which means I’ve been able to give out lots of raffle tickets. In addition, nearly everyone has scored 7 or more out of 10 on their spelling test. You’ve smashed it this week! Keep it up!
