Kind Crew
The children in nursery have been making pledges to look after the resources in their classroom and keep their learning spaces tidy this week. Archie, Lincoln and Ralphie have been showing stewardship by organising and tidying the construction area, even when they haven’t been working in there. We are proud of them and they are proud of their ‘I’m Being Kind’ stickers.
Crew MI 8.2.22
We really enjoyed dressing up on Friday as Rockstars to play Timestable Rockstars. We are definitely getting better at our timestables. We even did a kahoot quiz and played some maths board games. It was really fun!
Science in MI
Today we looked at how animals can be classified. We thought about the difference between vertebrates and invertebrates and used classification keys to identify each one. We then sketched and labelled our invertebrates and thought about their features. We used our knowledge gained to think about similarities and differences between two of them.

LKS2 Basketball Experience (7.2.22) 🏀
This morning we very fortunate to have a coach from Eagles come to our school and teach us how to play basketball. We noticed the children working hard in their teams and listening carefully to each other. It was lovely to see the children being kind to each other.
Song writing with Mr Hewitt 🎶🎵
We are now lyrical geniuses after Mr Hewitt has come and written our verses for our charity single.
Watch this space, our single will be out shortly! 🎤
Year 4 guitar lesson
We are really getting the hang of guitars in year 4!
PE Kits for Monday! 🏀
On Monday, Year 3 and 4 have an exciting visit from the Basketball Eagles 🏀 They will be practicing their basketball skills. Please can the children come in their PE kits! Have a great weekend! 😆
Maths, maths, maths!
We created our own anchor charts today… focusing on the skills we’ve been working really hard to grasp: four operations of fractions, % of amounts, multiplying and diving by 10,100,1000 and 4D Divide by 2D.
