The children have been exploring in the outdoor area to find materials, working as a mini crew to create numerals from 0-10. It was such a fun maths lesson, we didn’t want to come inside!

We had lots of fun taking part in our XP outdoor challenge this morning. We set up our obstacle course and used our climbing, balancing and rolling skills to complete this as a crew!
Crew MI did the arithmetic carousel where they worked in pairs going round the tables working out the answer and the comparing them.
year 6 crew challenge today was draw the picture. They children worked in pairs where one had to describe the picture to the other person and they had to draw it. Then check your drawings
In Crew Pashley’s reading group, this morning, Year 3/4 enjoyed spending some free time in the library to read some of their favourite books. The children enjoyed reading books to each other, sharing a book or quietly independently reading.

Fee is bring a bottle ie: juice, sauce, shampoo, shower gel etc, anything which can be used at the Summer Fayre which is on Wednesday at 2.00pm.

This week, we yet again, had lots to celebrate in our community meeting! We celebrated all of those children who have been reading at home the most in each crew! 📖 We also celebrated a ‘Star Reader’ 🌟 from each crew who has excelled in reading this week and they also had a yummy breakfast 😋 with Mrs Atherton yesterday! We also celebrated our ‘Learning Legends’ of the week 🏆 and it was lovely to see their grown ups here this week celebrating with them, they looked so proud! 😌 Finally we celebrated a member of Crew FE who wanted to shared an award that she had achieved at dancing! 💃 It is so lovely to hear about the children’s achievements out of school each week! 👏
