Writing
Crew Farrow have been working hard to independently write in first person. We have been inspired by our book ‘surfs up’.
Work to be proud of✨

I am so proud of Autumn for finishing her non-fiction write, and accurately copying in out onto special paper. Well done for using the handwriting lines to ensure beautiful presentation! You have included lots of facts about hedgehogs and made suggestions on how we can help them ✍️
Staying safe in the sun ☀️
Make sure you’re staying safe this week in the sun! Please bring a hat, sunglasses and suncream to school. 🧢🕶️🧴☀️
Baby Pictures! 👶
In expedition, we were identifying how animals change as they grow, including us! Thank you to everyone who was able to bring their baby pictures in and share them with the class – including teachers! We had lots of fun looking at our younger selves and explaining how we have changed over time.
Bug hunt 🐛🔎
Crew Farrow went on a bug hunt today as part of expedition, to see what insects we could find. We found lots of different insects including spiders, woodlice, butterflies and flies.
Crew litter pick
Crew Farrow did a litter pick as part of a Crew activity linking to our expedition ‘blue planet’. Well done to everyone for clearing up the litter that was in our play ground. PLEASE PUT YOUR LITTER IN THE BIN! 🚮
Phonics
Shout out to everyone in my phonics group who are sat BBC, TNT ready to learn. Everyone is pointing sensibly to guide their partners reading. I am very proud of you all!
Computing
Crew Farrow have been creating their own self portraits today on the iPads. We used mirrors to ensure our self portraits were as accurate as possible.

Well done to everyone for creating their own picture using the iPads. We selected different sizes, shapes and colours to make our own house.
