Thanks again to all parents for coming to reading cafe, it was great to see everyone reading their stories. I have logged it on the reading track as a read.

We had a fabulous Wednesday morning taking part in a Diwali dance workshop! We worked on moving freely and with self-expression in the hall. Building up confidence, and gaining knowledge of multicultural celebrations through different styles of dance. Developing agility, coordination, flexibility and balance.
Why don’t you try some of our favourite dance moves at home!
What a lovely day in FS1!
After reading the next part of Hansel and Gretel we learnt that Dad took them to the woods AGAIN! However, this time we dropped bread crumbs in the woods to be able to find our way back out. We saw lots of animals and felt even worse than we did the time before!

We painted our hands different colours to make some handprints to turn into police men and firemen for our display.

Today we were lucky to be visited by Mrs Godley’s Grandma who talked to us about what it was like during World War Two and her experience of being in hospital.
The children asked some great questions and we all learnt a lot!
