We’ve had such a lovely day celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee and it was lovely seeing all the families enjoying themselves.
Crew Shields absolutely loved their time on the bouncy castle. Thank you to all Crew Shields parents for joining us. 😊

What a great afternoon LKS2 have had celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee. We loved having a picnic together and didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits in typical British fashion!

We’ve had lots of fun celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee today in Crew Welburn! 💂🏽♀️👑 We’ve decorated biscuits in our Union Jack flag colours, bounced on the bouncy castles and had a delicious picnic. Even the rain couldn’t spoil our fun ☔️ We hope you enjoyed the celebrations as much as we did!

In our expedition lesson today we had the chance to dissect a lambs heart, which allowed us to develop our understanding of the circulatory system even further! We loved it! I am so proud of how the children put themselves out of their comfort zone for this great learning opportunity. Crew Mcloughlin should be so proud; first aid trained and now had the experience of dissecting a heart. We have definitely got budding health care professionals in the making! 🤩

We have had a fantastic few days exploring our new outdoor area, the children were so excited to get out there and play on all the fabulous new equipment with their friends.

Thank you to all adults who came along to our open morning/afternoon, the staff and children loved having you here to share it with us!
Yesterday, we completed a science experiment. We boiled water 3 times to see whether it would change states.
We found that the water evaporated through the process of boiling and turned from a liquid to a gas.

Look we have achieved our May badge, which is a butterfly because we have been actively travelling to school for the past month! 🦋🏃🏼🚴🏽♀️🛴

Massive well done to Crew Shields for completing a first aid course.
The instructor was extremely impressed with their learning behaviours and maturity.

Today children finished their independent writing and we are blown away by what they have produced. They have worked so hard by having a positive attitude towards their learning and trying their best even when things were challenging. They used their planning sheets well to support their writing. Also they have worked on the get smart howl by ensuring they produced beautiful work they are proud of. We will now start editing and redrafting our work so it is even better! Keep it up MI 🙂
