KS1 have shown kindness today by making some bird 🦅 feeders in this cold weather. We used fats and oils to create these. It was messy fun!

National Story Telling Week
In KS1 we will be exploring everything magical about the incredible world of books 📚🦄🪄🧚♀️🧟🏰 We would like to invite our children to bring in their favourite story book on Friday 3rd February. We will be sharing our favourite stories throughout the day 🥰
Crew Godley’s weekly round up!
We’ve had a very busy week in Crew Godley! From working hard in Maths, becoming mad scientists to using our senses in thera-play. We’ve had so much fun! Our crew also wanted to do a big shout out to Thomas and Evie for such a super week showing us that they are working hard, to get smart – completing all of their phonics week this work and recognising and ordering numbers to 20!
🛴Scooting our way to HoWL success in UKS2 🛴
Friday morning break time was spent on scooters! Our crew leaders chose 5 children that had awesome hoWLs all week to enjoy a Friday morning treat. Miss Mcloughlin was super impressed with how sensible these children were when walking the scooters from the hall to the mugga, it reflected awesome be kind hoWLs😃 I wonder who can earn it next week?

In after school club this week they’ve made a fish, climbed trees and built dens.

This morning in crew we took some time to go through our books and think about presentation. As well as considering what we are doing well as a crew, we thought about ways to be even better. Some really good critique using out I praise and I wonder phrases.

Martin Luther King – How did he change our future?
Today, we have been learning more about Martin Luther King who peacefully protested for equal rights for all black people. We learned about how this man’s willingness to stand up for what was right made vital changes to laws so black people had equal rights. Some great discussions and mini crew work to start building background knowledge.
PE – Taekwondo
Great PE session for Crew Shields as they continue to learn their kicks. 🥋
Massive well done to Georgie and Tommy whole were the PE superstars today. 🏆
