LKS2 Sketches! ✏️
Today, LKS2 have been completing sketches of different London monuments that were part of the skyline during the Second World War. This will continue to form part of our final art piece!
Yr 5/6 Final Product
This afternoon, we shared our final product, which was a science expo, with our parents. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the parents that joined us. It was great seeing so many of you turning up but also being fully engaged in the activity.
The crew were rather nervous today but I’m sure you’ll agree that they absolutely smashed it. I am beyond proud of them.
If you have an feedback regarding the Science expo, we would really appreciate your feedback. You can send this in with your child or catch me on the door at the end of the day tomorrow.

Celebration of Learning
Crew Welburn invited our parents in today to celebrate all of the learning we have carried out in our expedition ‘How do we care for bears?’. We had a wonderful teddy bears picnic, shared our learning with our adults, showed them how to print bears using different objects, and got to share our video of Goldilocks and the Three Bears with them. We had lots of fun and were very proud of everything we have achieved this term!
Attendance reward in MI
14 out of 16 children in Crew MI managed to make it onto the inflatables for the attendance reward! What an amazing time they had!!!! Well done everyone 🙂
Bouncy Castle Fun!
As part of our attendance challenge, those with 100% had a fun time playing and letting off energy on the bouncy castle. Judge for yourself, but we think the photos suggest they had a lot of fun!
Christmas Fayre!
On Friday 2nd December children are invited into school in their PJs to start our Christmas celebrations. We are asking for a donation of a chocolate bar/ box to support our Christmas fayre tombola.
We are also in need of tombola prizes and would love it if you think of us when clearing out for Christmas.

Line graphs – 29/11/22
In Maths, we have been learning about statistics and in particular line graphs. Being able to draw an accurate line graph is quite a tricky skill to learn so we spent some time practicing how to draw line graphs. As part of this, we used varying number increments on the graph so children started to understand that they won’t always go up in 1s or 2s.
