What a lovely start to the week, we began by perfecting our dance 💃 with Coach Shelly. It was very fun and festive 🎄
We then worked hard in order to get smart to create a backdrop for our expedition display work. We carefully mixed paint 🎨 to create different shades of blue and blended this beautifully 😊
After lunch we heard some 🔔 ringing in the corridor 🎅🏼 Santa parked his sleigh 🛷 on the roof and delivered some special treats for us 🍭
Repainting the railings has brightened up the entrances to the school,Please help and support keeping our school smart by preventing the children from climbing on them as tempting as it is !

Friday ✅ Another great week in Foundation 😊
The weeks are really flying by and today we sat as a Crew and reflected on our achievements so far. The list was incredible 🌟 We have been working extremely hard to develop our HoWLs (Habits of Work and Learning). At the end of day we will begin to assess ourselves from 1-4 in Work Hard, Get Smart and Be Kind. We will be thinking about our daily HOWL points and how we can ensure we’re a fabulous 4.
During Crew we have had some very honest discussions around Working Hard, Getting Smart and Being Kind. SJ was very reflective and said in order to improve his learning he is ‘going to focus on one thing at a time to concentrate better’. Such a fantastic answer SJ ☺️ You really thought carefully about how you can get to that Fab 4! We will start to update our HOWL tracker daily from Monday so watch this space 🏫

It has been lovely to see some new friendships forming in Foundation. The children have settled well and developed Crew over the past four weeks. They love to sing our Crew song 🎶
