Crew Shields have explored newspapers and had the opportunity to read some articles.
They provided praises, notices and wonders about the articles. They did a great job picking out the features of a newspaper report.

Getting Smart in Year 2
Year 2 have been trying to get smart by working on their handwriting today. There has been some real determination shown to improve their handwriting and make sure they are producing beautiful work.
Jubilee celebrations 👑
Jubilee Celebrations
What a fantastic day we had yesterday celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee. The children enjoyed learning all about the Queen, making decorations and showing off their outfits of red, white and blue. They have been so excited today to tell us all about their afternoon with their families – especially the ice creams!
Thank you to our parents and families for joining us, we hope you had a wonderful time! Thank you also to the amazing staff who helped put together such a fun event.

What a great day with swimming. Lots of children pushing themselves to achieve and it’s been great in Crew hearing them talk about how proud of themselves they are.
